What the service does

You email ForwardThis and it carries out actions in other services on your behalf - creating files, records, tasks and events in apps you have connected. It acts as your agent. Anything it does in your connected apps is done as you and counts as your action.

Your account

You need an account, and commands are only accepted from email addresses you have verified. Keep control of those mailboxes: anyone who can send mail as you can instruct the service as you. Tell us immediately at support@forwardthis.io if you think that has happened.

You must be 18 or over.

What you are responsible for

  • Having the right to share the content you forward, and to act on it in the apps you connect.
  • Reviewing what the service asks you to confirm. A confirmation link is a decision, not a formality.
  • Not using it to send unsolicited bulk messages, to break the law, or to work around another service's terms or rate limits.
  • Not attempting to use it to reach data or accounts that aren't yours.

Plans and payment

Each plan includes a number of actions a month. One email you send is one action, however many replies it takes to finish - clarifying questions, corrections and undo are all part of the request that started them. Actions that don't complete aren't counted. Allowances reset on the 1st of each month and do not roll over.

When you reach your allowance, new requests are not processed and we email you. Existing conversations continue.

Payments are handled by Polar, who are the merchant of record and whose terms also apply to the transaction. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax Polar is required to add. Changing plan takes effect immediately and is prorated. Cancelling stops the renewal; you keep the plan until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund part-used periods except where the law requires it.

If we change prices we will email you at least 30 days beforehand, and the change applies from your next renewal.

What we don't promise

The service depends on language models and on third-party APIs. It will sometimes misunderstand you, and an app it depends on will sometimes be unavailable. We have built undo, confirmation before risky actions, and a record of everything done, precisely because of that - but we cannot promise it is always right.

Do not use it as the only safeguard for anything that would be expensive, dangerous or irreversible to get wrong. The service is provided as is, without warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded by law.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data beyond our retention commitments.

Suspension and ending it

You can stop at any time from Settings. We may suspend an account immediately where there is unlawful use, abuse of the service, or a security risk to someone else, and we will tell you why unless we are legally prevented from doing so.

On closure, your data is deleted on the schedule in the privacy policy. Disconnecting an app here does not undo anything already done in it - that is in your app, and yours to manage.

Changes

We will email you before any change that materially affects your rights. Continuing to use the service after that is acceptance.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
