An ops assistant for your inbox
ForwardThis for travel agents
Travel agents run on email. Booking confirmations, supplier invoices, new enquiries, itinerary changes, balance reminders: they all land in your inbox, and they all need actioning. ForwardThis actions them for you. Forward the email, add some simple instructions, and it does the work in the apps you already use.

The emails travel agents deal with every day
ForwardThis takes on the repetitive tasks you would normally delegate, or switch between apps to deal with yourself. Each one of these can be actioned from a single forwarded email.
A booking confirmation
“File this under Clients/Harper/Tenerife and put the travel dates in my calendar.”
The confirmation is filed in the client's folder, and the travel dates sit in your calendar.
A supplier invoice
“Put this in Xero as a bill, due on the 21st.”
The invoice lands in Xero as a draft bill with the PDF attached.
A new enquiry
“Add this to the CRM as a lead, and set a task to reply in the morning.”
The enquiry lands in your CRM as a contact, with the follow-up task already on your list.
An airline schedule change
“Note the new time on the booking card and text the client with the change.”
The card carries the new time, and the text goes out once you have approved the words.
A balance due reminder
“Put the balance date in my calendar for the 15th, with a reminder a week before.”
The due date sits in your calendar with the email attached, so no balance slips past you.
A commission statement
“Add each booking to the Commissions sheet, one row per booking.”
Each booking becomes a row on your sheet, so chasing what you are owed is easy.
A client's special request
“Add a note to the record and set a task to confirm it with the supplier.”
The request sits on the client's record, with the task to confirm it on your list.
E-tickets and travel documents
“Save the attachments under Clients/Harper/Tickets.”
Each document is saved to the client's folder, and the confirmation lists every file with its link.
An operator update the team should see
“Post this in #team-updates.”
Your team sees it in the channel once you have approved the words.

Workflows travel agents use
FAQs
- How do travel agents use ForwardThis?
- By forwarding the emails that carry work in them. A booking confirmation gets filed with the travel dates in the calendar. A supplier invoice lands in Xero. A new enquiry goes into the CRM. A schedule change is noted and the client is texted once you approve the words. Each one can be actioned from a single forwarded email.
- Does it work with the tools a travel agent already uses?
- Yes. It works with Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Sheets, HubSpot, Xero, Trello, Slack, Twilio and 145+ other apps. Each app takes one click to connect, and once connected it stays connected.
- Does it work with Amadeus, Sabre or a tour operator's booking system?
- No. ForwardThis cannot make or change bookings inside a GDS or an operator's system. What it covers is the admin around the booking: confirmations and tickets filed in Google Drive, travel and balance dates in the calendar, enquiries in the CRM, invoices in Xero, commissions on a sheet, and client texts.
- Can my team use it too?
- We're working hard on getting our team plan ready to launch. If you'd like to use ForwardThis for your team, please email us for more information.
- What happens to client-sensitive emails?
- Your email is processed securely and used only to carry out your instructions. ForwardThis keeps it just long enough for you to press undo, then deletes it completely. Nothing is stored long term.
- Can it set up folders in Google Drive for a new client?
- Yes. If you mention a Google Drive folder that does not exist, ForwardThis creates it for you. "File this under Clients/Harper/Tickets" works the day the booking is made.
