FAQs

How do I create a Wrike task from an email?
Forward the email to your ForwardThis address with some simple instructions, like "add this to the Studio project as a task for Callum, due Friday". ForwardThis creates the task and replies with a link. The first time, you will need a free ForwardThis account with Wrike connected - it takes about 30 seconds.
Which folder or project does the task go in?
Whichever your instructions name. ForwardThis can also create a new folder or project first and put the task inside it.
Can it assign the task and set a due date?
Yes. Name the person and the date in your instructions and the task is created with them set. It can also be made a subtask of an existing task.
Can it attach the email's files to the task?
Yes. ForwardThis can attach the email's files to the task, and the confirmation lists what was attached.
Doesn't Wrike have its own email integration?
It does. Wrike can turn an email into a task when you send it to wrike@wrike.com, with the folder chosen by square brackets in the subject line, and it works. The difference is that ForwardThis takes plain words instead: the folder, assignee and due date all come from your instructions, and the reply links to the task it created.
Does it work with Outlook and other email apps?
Yes. ForwardThis works with any email provider: Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail and everything else. If it can forward an email, it works.
What happens to my email afterwards?
It gets deleted. ForwardThis holds your email briefly in case you press undo, then removes it completely. Nothing is stored long term.

Forward an email. Sh*t gets done.
