- Is ForwardThis a Superhuman alternative?
- No, and it would be dishonest to pretend otherwise. Superhuman Mail is where you read and answer email, and ForwardThis has no inbox to read. It replaces the twenty minutes after the email, not the email app. If Superhuman is on a shortlist because the inbox itself is slow, ForwardThis does not belong on that list.
- Can both be used together?
- Yes, and it is the common case. Superhuman handles the reading, the triage and the reply. When an email leaves real work behind, forward that one on with your instructions and ForwardThis does that part in Salesforce, Drive or the calendar. The two never touch the same job, and nothing has to be connected between them.
- How does the pricing compare?
- The units are different, which matters more than the numbers. Superhuman Mail is sold per seat, per user per month, cheaper on annual billing, with no free tier for Mail and a trial before you commit. Five people is five subscriptions. ForwardThis is sold per action for the whole account: 10 actions a month free with every feature, then $15 a month for 100. One forwarded email is one action, however much back-and-forth it takes to finish.
- Does ForwardThis need access to my mailbox?
- No. Superhuman is a mail client, so it holds a full connection to your Google or Microsoft account and could not work without one. ForwardThis has no connection to any inbox. The only message it ever sees is the one forwarded to it, and no email content is kept once the action completes.
- Superhuman sells agents now. Is that the same idea?
- It overlaps, and it is worth being straight about that. Superhuman Go brings agents and connectors into the tools people already use, and automating email is one of the things it is sold for. The difference is who is in charge. In ForwardThis the instruction always comes from you, on one email. Nothing in the forwarded message can change what gets done or where; it can only supply details. Anything that sends words to another person is shown to you first, and you can undo it for 24 hours.
- What if my email is not on Gmail or Outlook?
- Superhuman Mail supports Gmail and Google Workspace, and Outlook and Microsoft 365. iCloud, Fastmail and other providers are not supported. ForwardThis has no provider list at all, because forwarding is the entire setup: a hosted domain, an old IMAP account, anything that can send a message onward.
