- Doesn't Teamwork have its own email-in address?
- It does. Every Teamwork task list has an address, and an email sent there becomes a task with the subject as the title. If you keep those addresses handy, use them. ForwardThis needs one address for every project - and every other app you use - and sets the due date and details from your instructions.
- Which project does the task land in?
- The one in your instructions. Teamwork files tasks into task lists rather than straight into projects, so if the project keeps more than one list, ForwardThis asks which one rather than guessing.
- Can it assign the task to Dana?
- No. ForwardThis creates the task with the due date and keeps who it is for in the task's details, but assigning it to a person stays a click you make in Teamwork once the task is there.
- What if the task is wrong?
- The confirmation email includes an undo that works for 24 hours, which deletes the task. You can also just reply with the right project, title or date.
- Does it work with Outlook and other email apps?
- Yes. ForwardThis works with any email provider: Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail and everything else. If it can forward an email, it works.
- What happens to my email afterwards?
