- Doesn't TickTick have its own email-to-task address?
- It does. TickTick gives you a personal address, and an email sent there becomes a task with the subject as the title. If that covers it, use it. ForwardThis reads your instructions too: the right list, the date and time, and the details, and it replies to confirm what it added.
- Which list does the task go to?
- Whichever your instructions ask for. With no list mentioned, the task goes to your TickTick inbox, where new tasks normally land.
- What if the list doesn't exist yet?
- ForwardThis cannot create TickTick lists, so it replies to tell you rather than guessing at one. Create the list in TickTick once, or leave the list out and sort the task later.
- Can it set a time, not just a day?
- Yes. A TickTick due date carries a time of day, so ForwardThis can set both from your instructions and the task turns up in the right place on your day.
- Does it work with Outlook and other email apps?
- Yes. ForwardThis works with any email provider: Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail and everything else. If it can forward an email, it works.
- What happens to my email afterwards?
