ForwardThis for Amazon sellers

Amazon sellers run on email. Supplier quotes, freight paperwork, VAT invoices, inspection reports, price updates: they all land in your inbox, and they all need actioning. ForwardThis actions them for you. Forward the email, add some simple instructions, and it does the work in the apps you already use.

The emails Amazon sellers deal with every day

ForwardThis takes on the repetitive tasks you would normally delegate, or switch between apps to deal with yourself. Each one of these can be actioned from a single forwarded email.

  • A supplier quote or PO confirmation

File this under Suppliers/Kestrel/POs and add a row to the Orders sheet.

The PO is filed in the supplier's folder, and the order details sit in your sheet.

  • Freight forwarder paperwork

Save the documents under Shipments/FCL-2216, and add a card to the Shipments board for the arrival date.

The paperwork is filed, and the arrival sits on your board so the delivery never sneaks up on you.

  • A duty and VAT invoice

Put this in Xero as a bill, due end of the month.

The charge sits in Xero as a draft bill, with the invoice PDF attached.

  • An inspection report

File the report under Products/Serving Boards/QC.

The report is filed with the product, and the confirmation gives you the link.

  • A supplier price update

Add the new prices to the Cost Prices sheet, one row per SKU.

Each SKU's new price becomes a row on your sheet, so your margins stay honest.

  • A packaging supplier invoice

Put this in QuickBooks as a bill, due on the 25th.

The packaging bill waits in QuickBooks as a draft, with the PDF attached.

  • Product photos from a shoot

Save the attachments under Products/Oak Serving Board/Photos.

Every photo is saved to the product folder, and the confirmation lists each one with its link.

  • A low stock warning from your prep centre

Add a card to the Reorders board for tomorrow.

The reorder sits on your board with the email attached, so it gets done.

  • A customer asking to join your mailing list

Add Sophie to the Launch List in Klaviyo.

The customer joins your list, ready for the next product launch.

FAQs

How do Amazon sellers use ForwardThis?
By forwarding the emails that carry work in them. A PO confirmation gets filed with a row on the orders sheet. Freight paperwork lands in the shipment folder with the arrival date on the board. A duty and VAT invoice goes into Xero. A price update becomes rows on the cost sheet. Each one can be actioned from a single forwarded email.
Does it work with Amazon Seller Central?
No. There is no Seller Central connector, so ForwardThis cannot change listings, prices, orders or inventory inside Seller Central. What it covers is everything around it: supplier POs and quotes filed in Google Drive, freight paperwork saved, VAT invoices into Xero or QuickBooks, cost prices on a sheet, inspection reports filed, and reorders on the board.
Does it work with the tools an Amazon business already uses?
Yes. It works with Google Drive, Google Sheets, Xero, QuickBooks, Trello, Slack, Klaviyo, Twilio and 145+ other apps. Each app takes one click to connect, and once connected it stays connected.
Can my team use it too?
We're working hard on getting our team plan ready to launch. If you'd like to use ForwardThis for your team, please email us for more information.
What happens to commercially sensitive emails?
Your email is processed securely and used only to carry out your instructions. ForwardThis keeps it just long enough for you to press undo, then deletes it completely. Nothing is stored long term.
Can it set up folders in Google Drive for a new product?
Yes. If you mention a Google Drive folder that does not exist, ForwardThis creates it for you. "File this under Products/Oak Serving Board/QC" works before the first sample has even shipped.
