Fwd: Can we get CSV export on the reports?
Capture this as feedback from Elena, tag it billing-reports, and link it to the CSV export feature.
---------- Forwarded message ----------
We pull the monthly figures into our own spreadsheet, and right now that means copying them off the screen one row at a time. A CSV button on the reports page would save us an hour a month.
Note: Can we get CSV export on the reports?

Undo available for 24 hours if something does not look right.

Why you need ForwardThis
Email is messy, every message asking for something different. It means constantly leaving your inbox and juggling tabs. ForwardThis skips all of that: forward an email along with some simple instructions, and it’s handled. Compatible with every email provider, and it works across the apps you’re already using.
Questions
- How do I send an email to Productboard?
- Forward the customer's email to your ForwardThis address with some simple instructions, like "capture this as feedback from Elena and link it to the CSV export feature". ForwardThis creates the note, using the subject line as its name and the message as its content, attributes it to the customer, tags it if you asked, links it to the feature it argues for, and replies to confirm. The first time, you'll need a free account with Productboard connected, which takes about 30 seconds - that's the entire Productboard email integration.
- Can it tag the note?
- Yes. Say which tags you want on it, or which to take off, and it works them out against the tags the note already has. One thing worth knowing: Productboard creates a tag the first time it sees one, so a misspelled tag becomes a real tag in your workspace. Spell them the way your team already does.
- Can it create or update a feature?
- Yes. It can create a feature, subfeature, component, product, initiative, objective, key result or release, and place it under an existing one you name. On something that already exists it can change the name, the description, the status by its name such as Candidate or Planned, and the owner by their email address.
- What if something gets captured that shouldn't be?
- It archives rather than deletes. Productboard's own delete is permanent and takes a feature's children with it, so nothing here destroys anything: an archived note or feature can be brought back. The confirmation email also includes an undo that works for 24 hours.
- How is this different from Productboard's own email address for notes?
- Productboard gives you an address that drops the email into the notes inbox for someone to sort out later. This lets you say, in the same forward, who it came from, how it should be tagged and which feature it is evidence for, so the note arrives already filed. If a raw copy sitting in the inbox is all you need, Productboard's own address does that perfectly well.
