An ops assistant for your inbox

ForwardThis for executive assistants

Executive assistants run on email. Meeting requests, board papers, itineraries, receipts, introductions: they all land in your inbox, and they all need actioning. ForwardThis actions them for you. Forward the email, add some simple instructions, and it does the work in the apps you already use.

The emails executive assistants deal with every day

ForwardThis takes on the repetitive tasks you would normally delegate, or switch between apps to deal with yourself. Each one of these can be actioned from a single forwarded email.

  • A meeting request

Book this in for Thursday at 10am, with a video link.

The meeting goes in the diary with the thread attached to the invite.

  • Board papers

    File this under Board/2026/October.

The pack is filed where the board expects to find it, and the confirmation gives you the link.

  • A travel itinerary

Put the flights and the hotel in the calendar, and file the itinerary under Travel/Madrid.

Every leg of the trip is in the calendar, and the itinerary is filed with it.

  • An expense receipt

Add this to the October expenses sheet with the amount.

A row lands on the sheet, so month end is a read-through instead of a dig.

  • An introduction

Add them to the CRM with a note on who made the introduction.

The contact is in the CRM with the context recorded, before the thread goes cold.

  • A thread full of action points

Turn the action points in this into tasks, due Monday.

Each action point becomes its own task, so nothing agreed in email gets lost.

  • A schedule change

Move Tuesday's board prep to 4pm and tell the team in #exec-office.

The calendar is updated, and the team hears about it after you approve the message.

  • A request for time with no dates offered

Make a scheduling link for a 30 minute call.

The confirmation comes back with a scheduling link, ready to send on.

  • Venue or supplier details

Save the rates in my Suppliers page.

The details sit on your Suppliers page, filed before the next event needs them.

  2. ForwardThis does the work

FAQs

How do executive assistants use ForwardThis?
By forwarding the emails that carry work in them. A meeting request gets booked into the diary. Board papers are filed where the board expects them. An itinerary is filed with every leg in the calendar. An introduction goes into the CRM with the context recorded. Each one can be actioned from a single forwarded email.
Does it work with the tools an executive assistant already uses?
Yes. It works with Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Slack, Notion, HubSpot, Todoist, Calendly and 145+ other apps. Each app takes one click to connect, and once connected it stays connected.
Can it book into someone else's calendar?
Yes, if your connected Google account can edit that calendar. Most executive assistants already manage the diary from their own account, and ForwardThis books into whichever calendars that account can write to.
Does it message the team without checking?
No. When your instructions include telling people something, ForwardThis writes the message and shows it to you first. It posts only after you approve the wording, so nothing goes out in the wrong voice.
Can my team use it too?
We're working hard on getting our team plan ready to launch. If you'd like to use ForwardThis for your team, please email us for more information.
What happens to confidential emails?
Your email is processed securely and used only to carry out your instructions. ForwardThis keeps it just long enough for you to press undo, then deletes it completely. Nothing is stored long term.
