Make me a one-off booking link for the intro call, and tell me what's already booked on Thursday.

Happy to talk this week if you have a slot. Thursday or Friday both work at my end, ideally in the afternoon.

Why you need ForwardThis

ForwardThis skips all of that: forward an email along with some simple instructions, and it’s handled. Compatible with every email provider, and it works across the apps you’re already using.
Questions
- How do I send an email to Calendly?
- Forward the email to your ForwardThis address with a line saying what you want, like "make me a one-off booking link for the intro call" or "what have I got booked on Thursday?". ForwardThis does it and replies with the link or the answer. The first time, you'll need a free account with Calendly connected, which takes about 30 seconds - that's the entire Calendly email integration.
- Can it book a meeting for someone who emailed me?
- No, and that's deliberate. A Calendly booking belongs to the person who picks the slot, and booking on their behalf would email a stranger a meeting they never chose, with no way to unsend it. What it does instead is mint a single-use booking link for the meeting type you name and send that back to you, so you pass it on in your own reply.
- What can it tell me about my bookings?
- What's coming up, what happened in a window you name, and what was cancelled. It can list everyone's bookings rather than just yours, tell you who booked a particular meeting with their name, email and status, and read out your booking links, a meeting type's full details, or your routing forms. It can also check the availability you publish and the gaps still open in it, though Calendly only answers a week at a time, so a longer range is trimmed and it says so.
- Can it cancel a booking?
- Yes, and it always checks with you first. Before anything happens it shows you the meeting, its start time and who's on it. Calendly emails the invitee the moment a booking is cancelled, and there is no undo for that, so nothing goes through until you say yes. You can give a reason in your line and the invitee sees it. Marking someone as a no-show is different: that's an internal flag and the invitee is never told.
- How is this different from Calendly's own emails or Zapier?
- Calendly already emails you when something is booked or cancelled, which is all you need if you only want to be told. Zapier can push those events into other apps, but you build a rule for each one first. ForwardThis is for the other direction: asking Calendly a question from your inbox, or acting on an email that just arrived, without opening Calendly at all.
