Setup in 30 seconds.

How it works

  1. Connect Cal.com

Create a free account and connect Cal.com. It takes about 30 seconds, and you only do it once.

  2. Forward an email

Forward any email to your ForwardThis address along with your instructions. One email can ask for several things at once.

  3. Done.

ForwardThis replies when it's done, with a short summary and links to what it made. Cal.com has no way to take these back, so anything that cannot be reversed is shown to you first.

Just forward it

Fwd: Can we move Thursday's call?

Move Nadia's Thursday discovery call to Friday at 11am, and tell me what else I've got booked that day.

---------- Forwarded message ----------

Sorry to do this, something's come up on Thursday morning. Could we push our call to Friday? Late morning would be ideal at my end.

Questions

How do I send an email to Cal.com?
Forward the email to your ForwardThis address with a line saying what you want, like "move Nadia's Thursday call to Friday at 11am". ForwardThis finds the booking, shows you the attendee and both times, and makes the change once you reply yes. The first time, you'll need a free account with Cal.com connected, which takes about 30 seconds, and that's the entire Cal.com email integration.
Can I reschedule a Cal.com booking from an email?
Yes. Name the person or the booking title and the new time, and ForwardThis moves it. The same works for cancelling. It finds the booking by attendee name or by title, so "the Tuesday portfolio review" or "Nadia's call" is enough, and the preview shows you the real booking it matched before anything happens.
Can it undo a cancellation or a reschedule?
No. The moment either one runs, Cal.com emails the other person to tell them, and that email is already in their inbox. There is no honest way to take that back, so ForwardThis doesn't claim one. Instead it checks with you first and names the attendee in the approval, so you can see exactly whose Thursday you are about to change.
Can it check my availability or book something new?
It can check availability: ask when you're free for a named event type and it comes back with real slots, looking at the next seven days unless you give it a range. It can also list your bookings and your event types. It does not create bookings, because in Cal.com that's the invitee's side of the process, and it doesn't edit your availability schedules.
How is this different from Cal.com's own reschedule link or Zapier?
The reschedule link in the confirmation email is the neatest route when the attendee is willing to pick a new slot themselves. Zapier is for rules that run on every booking. ForwardThis is for the email where someone asks you to sort it: they've written a sentence, not clicked a link, and you can forward that sentence and be done rather than hunting through your bookings.

Forward an email. Sh*t gets done.
