- How do I send an email to Fireflies?
- Forward the email to your ForwardThis address with your question on top, like "what did we agree on the Bramley kick-off?". It finds the meeting by title and replies with the overview and the action items in the email. The first time, you'll need a free account with Fireflies connected, which takes about 30 seconds, and that's the entire Fireflies email integration.
- Can it record a meeting or join a call?
- No. It reads meetings Fireflies has already recorded for you. Nothing here starts a recording, changes a transcript or shares one with anybody.
- What comes back in the reply?
- For one meeting, the overview and its action items. For a general question, your latest recorded meetings with the date, how long each ran and who was on it. Name the meeting by its title if you know it.
- How is this different from the summary Fireflies already emails me?
- That summary is useful on the day and hard to find three weeks later. This is for the moment the question comes up, when a client emails asking what you said you'd do: you forward their email, ask, and the answer comes back to the same thread you're already in.
