An ops assistant for your inbox
ForwardThis for marketing teams
Marketing teams run on email. Press requests, partnership pitches, finished posts, campaign assets, agency invoices: they all land in your inbox, and they all need actioning. ForwardThis actions them for you. Forward the email, add some simple instructions, and it does the work in the apps you already use.

The emails marketing teams deal with every day
ForwardThis takes on the repetitive tasks you would normally delegate, or switch between apps to deal with yourself. Each one of these can be actioned from a single forwarded email.
A press or comment request
“Add this to the Press board, due Wednesday.”
The request is a card with a deadline, so the deadline is what gets managed, not the inbox.
A newsletter signup request
“Add them to the newsletter list, tagged as an event signup.”
One subscriber is added and tagged, and the confirmation shows exactly what was recorded.
A post ready for the blog
“Save this as a draft on the blog.”
The post sits in WordPress as a draft, and publishing stays a human decision.
Final assets from the agency
“Save the attachments under Campaigns/Spring/Assets.”
Every file lands in the campaign folder, and the confirmation lists each one with its link.
An agency invoice
“File this under Suppliers/Halcyon and add a row to the spend sheet.”
The invoice is filed and on the spend sheet, so budget tracking does not wait for month end.
A competitor campaign worth keeping
“Save this in the Swipe file under subject lines.”
The example sits in your swipe file, filed where the next campaign brainstorm will find it.
An event invitation
“Add this to the Events board with the date and a link to the invite.”
The event is a card with its date, and deciding who goes becomes a board conversation.
A partnership pitch
“Post this in #partnerships and say who they are.”
The pitch lands in the channel after you approve the message, so the team can weigh in.
A reader asking to be added
“Add them to the publication's free list.”
One reader joins the free list, and undo covers it for 24 hours.

FAQs
- How do marketing teams use ForwardThis?
- By forwarding the emails that carry work in them. A press request becomes a card on the board and a message to the channel. A finished post goes into WordPress as a draft. Campaign assets are filed in the right folder. An opt-in becomes a tagged subscriber. Each one can be actioned from a single forwarded email.
- Does it work with the tools a marketing team already uses?
- Yes. It works with Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Kit, Beehiiv, WordPress.com, Trello, Slack, Notion, Google Drive, Google Sheets and 145+ other apps. Each app takes one click to connect, and once connected it stays connected.
- Can it send a campaign or a broadcast?
- No. ForwardThis adds subscribers and creates drafts; it does not send campaigns or broadcasts. A forwarded opt-in becomes one subscriber, added and tagged, and pressing send on anything stays with you.
- Does it publish blog posts?
- No. A forwarded post goes into WordPress as a draft, never published. You read the draft, change what you want, and press publish yourself.
- Can my team use it too?
- We're working hard on getting our team plan ready to launch. If you'd like to use ForwardThis for your team, please email us for more information.
- What happens to emails with customer data in them?
- Your email is processed securely and used only to carry out your instructions. ForwardThis keeps it just long enough for you to press undo, then deletes it completely. Nothing is stored long term.
