- How do I send an email to Streak?
- Forward the email to your ForwardThis address with a line saying what you want, like "create a box for Carrick Media in the Sales pipeline at Proposal Sent". ForwardThis creates it and replies to confirm. The first time, you'll need a free account with Streak connected, which takes about 30 seconds.
- Can it create a box from an email?
- Yes. Name the pipeline and it creates the box there, with a stage and notes if your instruction gives them. If your account only has one pipeline, it uses that one without asking.
- Can it move a box to another stage?
- Yes. Stages are your pipeline's own words, not a fixed list, so "move Carrick Media to Negotiation" is matched against the stages on that box's own pipeline. If the name doesn't match one, it replies with the real list and asks which you meant rather than guessing.
- Can a comment be taken back?
- No, and it says so rather than pretending. Streak gives no reliable way to remove a comment once posted, so a comment is never offered an undo. A box ForwardThis created is deleted on undo, and an edit is restored to its previous name, notes and stage, for 24 hours.
- Does it read my Gmail threads?
- No. This works on pipelines, boxes and their stages and notes, which is the CRM side of Streak. It does not read the conversations attached to a box and it does not send from your mailbox.
