Why you need ForwardThis
Email is messy, every message asking for something different. It means constantly leaving your inbox and juggling tabs. ForwardThis skips all of that: forward an email along with some simple instructions, and it’s handled. Compatible with every email provider, and it works across the apps you’re already using.

- How do I send an email to Typefully?
- Forward the email, or write yourself one, and send it to your ForwardThis address with a line saying what you want, like "draft this as a thread". It writes the text into Typefully as a draft and replies with a link to it. The first time, you'll need a free account with Typefully connected, which takes about 30 seconds - that's the entire Typefully email integration.
- Can it post to X for me?
- It can queue a post through Typefully, either at a time you name or in your next free slot, and Typefully publishes it under your own account. Because that is public and your name is on it, the approval carries the full text and the slot, and nothing is queued until you say yes.
- How do I get a thread instead of one post?
- Just ask for a thread. Typefully splits a draft into separate posts wherever there are four consecutive blank lines, and that's what it writes, so the thread arrives already broken up the way you'd have done it by hand.
- Does it rewrite what I send it?
- Your words go through untouched when you give it words. Ask it to draft from an email and it writes the draft for you to edit, which is the point of a draft: it lands in Typefully, you read it, you change what you don't like.
- Can it unschedule a post?
- Not from here. ForwardThis does not offer an undo on anything it puts in your Typefully queue, because once a post is scheduled the safest place to change your mind is Typefully itself. That's why anything going into the queue is shown to you in full first, and why a plain draft is the safer thing to ask for if you're still thinking about it. To pull a scheduled post, open Typefully.
