How it works
Connect AWeber
Create a free account and connect AWeber. It takes about 30 seconds, and you only do it once.
Forward an email
Forward any email to your ForwardThis address along with your instructions. One email can ask for several things at once.
Done.
ForwardThis replies when it's done, with a short summary and links to what it made - and an undo button if something doesn't look right.

Why you need ForwardThis
Email is messy, every message asking for something different. It means constantly leaving your inbox and juggling tabs. ForwardThis skips all of that: forward an email along with some simple instructions, and it’s handled. Compatible with every email provider, and it works across the apps you’re already using.
Questions
- How do I send an email to AWeber?
- Forward the email to your ForwardThis address with a line saying what should happen, like "add her to the Newsletter list". ForwardThis adds the subscriber, using the name and email address from the message, and replies to confirm. The first time, you'll need a free account with AWeber connected, which takes about 30 seconds.
- Can I add a subscriber to AWeber by forwarding an email?
- Yes. Forward the email and name the list - "add them to the Newsletter list". ForwardThis picks up the person's name and email address from the message, adds them, and replies to confirm. You can tag them in the same line - "add her, tagged webinar" - so the right AWeber automation picks them up. If someone is already on the list, their details are updated rather than duplicated, and undo works for 24 hours if the wrong person goes on.
- Can it tag subscribers so my AWeber automations trigger?
- Yes. Tags are how AWeber decides who gets what, and ForwardThis can add or remove them by name - "tag her as a customer", "untag him as a lead". Tags that don't exist yet are created when you first add them. What ForwardThis never does is send the emails itself: your automations stay yours, it only tags the people they watch for.
- Can it unsubscribe someone who asked to stop receiving emails?
- Yes - forward their email and say "take them off the list". Because unsubscribing changes what a real person receives, ForwardThis checks with you first, then sets their status to unsubscribed in AWeber. It never quietly re-adds someone who took themselves off, and it leaves anyone still waiting on their own confirmation alone.
- Can ForwardThis send broadcasts from an email?
- No, and that's deliberate. ForwardThis manages who is on your lists, how they're tagged and what their custom fields say - it never creates, schedules or sends a broadcast, so nothing you forward can ever email your subscribers. Sending stays with you in AWeber. It can tell you how a sent broadcast did: emails sent, opens, clicks and complaints.
- How is this different from Zapier or AWeber's own integrations?
- Those are the better choice for a fixed, always-on rule, like every new form signup joining a list automatically. ForwardThis is an AWeber email integration for everything that arrives as an email instead: a signup request, an unsubscribe request, a question about a list. You forward it, say what should happen, and there are no rules to build first. It handles the email automation your inbox needs, in AWeber and dozens of your other apps.
