How it works

  1. Connect Omnisend

Create a free account and connect Omnisend. It takes about 30 seconds, and you only do it once.

  2. Forward an email

Forward any email to your ForwardThis address along with your instructions. One email can ask for several things at once.

  3. Done.

ForwardThis replies when it's done, with a short summary and links to what it made - and an undo button if something doesn't look right.

Just forward it

Why you need ForwardThis

Email is messy, every message asking for something different. It means constantly leaving your inbox and juggling tabs. ForwardThis skips all of that: forward an email along with some simple instructions, and it’s handled. Compatible with every email provider, and it works across the apps you’re already using.

Questions

How do I send an email to Omnisend?
Forward the email to your ForwardThis address with some simple instructions, like "add this person to Omnisend" or "unsubscribe them and tag them lapsed". ForwardThis finds or creates the contact from the email address, does the thing, and replies to confirm. The first time, you'll need a free account with Omnisend connected, which takes about 30 seconds, and that's the entire Omnisend email integration.
Does this send marketing emails for me?
No. Nothing here sends anything to anyone. It works on contacts: who's in your audience, what they're tagged, whether they're subscribed. Campaigns and automations are out of reach entirely, and it never sends the kind of tracking event that could quietly set an automation off. Pressing send stays a step you take inside Omnisend.
Can I add someone to Omnisend from an email?
Yes. Forward the enquiry and say so, and ForwardThis creates the contact from their email address, with their name, tags and any details you mention. It won't mark them as opted in to marketing unless you tell it to; consent is yours to give, not its to guess. If a contact with that address already exists, it's updated rather than duplicated.
Can I unsubscribe someone by forwarding their request?
Yes, and it's the job this integration does most. Forward the "please stop emailing me" message, write "unsubscribe them", and ForwardThis switches their email channel off in Omnisend. It checks with you first, because it's changing what someone receives. Resubscribing works the same way in reverse, though any emails skipped in between stay skipped.
Can it undo adding a contact?
Not that one, and it says so rather than pretending. Omnisend has no way to remove a contact once it exists, so a brand new contact stays. Everything else can be reversed for 24 hours: a details change restores what was there, a tag change puts the old tags back, and a subscription switch goes back the way it was.
How is this different from Omnisend's own imports or Zapier?
An import is the right tool for a spreadsheet of a thousand people. Zapier is right when the same signup lands in the same shape every day and you want a rule that runs forever. ForwardThis is for the one-off that arrives in your inbox: the unsubscribe request, the wholesale enquiry, the customer who changed their address. One forward, one line, no rule to build first.

Forward an email. Sh*t gets done.
