Why you need ForwardThis

Email is messy, every message asking for something different. It means constantly leaving your inbox and juggling tabs. ForwardThis skips all of that: forward an email along with some simple instructions, and it’s handled. Compatible with every email provider, and it works across the apps you’re already using.

Questions

How do I send an email to Jobber?
Forward the email to your ForwardThis address with your instructions, like "add this as a work request for Dana Whitfield". ForwardThis creates it in Jobber and replies to confirm. The first time, you'll need a free account with Jobber connected, which takes about 30 seconds.
Can I forward a customer's email straight into Jobber?
Yes. Forward it to your ForwardThis address and say where it belongs: a work request on their file, a note on their job, or a brand new client if they're not in Jobber yet. One address covers all of it, and ForwardThis replies to confirm what it did.
Do I have to set anything up first?
Connect Jobber once - it takes about 30 seconds - and you're done. There's nothing else to set up: each email you forward says what should happen to it.
Will ForwardThis send quotes or anything else to my customers?
No, never. When you ask for a quote, it's saved as a draft in Jobber and nothing goes to the customer until you open it and press send yourself. ForwardThis never emails or texts your customers, and it never touches invoices or payments.
Can it create jobs in Jobber?
No, and that's deliberate. Creating a job in Jobber means scheduling a crew and choosing how it gets billed, and those calls belong to you. ForwardThis creates the client, the work request, the draft quote and the notes, and you turn the request into a job in Jobber the way you always have.
What if it gets something wrong?
Everything it creates in Jobber can be deleted again: the confirmation email includes an undo that works for 24 hours. And the undo is careful - if the work has already been picked up, say a quote you drafted has since gone out to the customer, it steps back and leaves things alone.
How is this different from Jobber's own email tools?
Jobber's email tools send mail out - quotes, invoices, campaigns. Nothing built in turns an email you received into a client, a work request or a quote; that's the gap ForwardThis covers. For enquiries from your website, Jobber's own request form is still the better front door, and if the same email arrives the same way every day, a Zapier rule you build once may suit you better. ForwardThis is for the emails that are all different.
