- Forward the email to your ForwardThis address with your question on top, like "how much have I sold since 1 August?". It reads your store and replies with the answer in the email: recent orders with the buyer, the product and the total, and the revenue added up. The first time, you'll need a free account with Lemon Squeezy connected, which takes about 30 seconds, and that's the entire Lemon Squeezy email integration.
- Can it refund an order or change a price?
- No. This connection reads and nothing else. Refunds, discounts and anything at the checkout are out, because moving money on the strength of an email is not something ForwardThis does anywhere.
- What exactly comes back?
- Recent orders with the buyer, the product and the total, plus the revenue summed for the period you asked about, and your products with their prices and whether they're live. Narrow it by saying when: today, last week, since 1 August.
- How is this different from the Lemon Squeezy dashboard?
- The dashboard is better when you want to look around. This is for when the question arrives in an email, from your accountant or your co-founder, and the answer would mean opening a tab and going hunting. You ask in the reply and the figures come back to you.
